Sevenex has made its second investment in the health-tech sector, by backing Livesmart, which offers a range of assessments that look at every aspect of employees’ health and wellness, presenting the data in an innovative and accessible way. The company has already landed some significant contracts with blue chip companies in its first year of trading and is looking to branch out into Europe.
The LiveSmart service is broken down into 3 key parts: collection, analysis and health coaching. Pathology is collected either by using the finger prick home test kit, through one of 50 clinics or using the LiveSmart home & office visit service. Results are analysed together by a GP and by a dietician, and can be viewed online or via a mobile app. Customers then have the option to select from a range of health improvement programmes that include telephone-coaching.
“We’re delighted to have won the backing of Sevenex,” says LiveSmart CEO Alex Heaton. “Richard and Jonathan immediately saw the value of our service in a sector that’s ripe for disruption. It’s a big plus for LiveSmart to be able to leverage their global commercial expertise.”
“Health assessments are expensive, time-consuming and poorly presented to the customer,” says Sevenex’s Richard Londesborough. “LiveSmart addresses these issues head-on, and also delivers valuable data to the customer in a user-friendly format that encourages those crucial changes for a healthier lifestyle.”
